Sell ("we", "us", "our") operates the website sell.applesauce.chat. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you when you use our service. By using Sell, you agree to the practices described in this document.

1.1 — Information You Provide

• Photos — Images you upload for item analysis. These are transmitted to OpenAI's API for item identification and stored on our servers for your listing history.
• Facebook Account Data — If you authenticate via Facebook Login, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture as provided by Facebook's OAuth service.

1.2 — Automatically Collected Information

• Listing History — Item names, descriptions, categories, and suggested prices generated from your uploads.
• Session Data — Temporary session cookies used to maintain your authenticated session.

We use the information we collect solely to operate and improve the Sell service. Specifically:

• To analyze uploaded photos and generate marketplace listing descriptions
• To conduct price research from eBay sold listings on your behalf
• To maintain and display your listing history
• To authenticate your account via Facebook Login
• To post listings to Facebook Marketplace on your behalf, when you explicitly authorize such action

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond the direct provision of the Sell service.

Sell integrates with the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy practices governing how they handle data we transmit to them.

3.1 — OpenAI

Photos you upload are sent to OpenAI's API for AI-powered item analysis. OpenAI's data handling is governed by the OpenAI Privacy Policy. We do not share personally identifiable information with OpenAI beyond the image content itself.

3.2 — Facebook / Meta

We use the Facebook Login service for account authentication and the Facebook Marketplace API for listing publication. Your use of these features is governed by Meta's Privacy Policy.

3.3 — eBay

We access publicly available sold listing data from eBay for the purpose of price research. No personal data is transmitted to or shared with eBay in connection with this feature.

Your data is stored on servers operated by applesauce.chat. Photos and listing data are retained indefinitely unless you submit a deletion request as described in Section 5.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes. Data is disclosed to third parties only as necessary to operate the service (see Section 3) or as required by law.

You have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

• Right to Deletion — You may request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
• Right to Access — You may request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
• Right to Revoke Access — You may revoke our access to your Facebook account at any time through Facebook's Settings > Apps and Websites.

We employ reasonable technical safeguards to protect your information, including:

• HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
• Access controls restricting stored data to authorized personnel only

No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the Sell service following any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
